Healthy URLs is run by Scout Pages Ltd, a company registered in England and Wales (company number 17476499). Scout Pages Ltd is the data controller.

This page describes the data the product collects and stores.

Sign-in

You sign in with GitHub only. GitHub handles your password. We never receive it. After you authorise the app, we receive your GitHub name, email address, and avatar. We store those with your GitHub account id so we can keep you signed in and show your account.

Sites and crawls

When you add a domain, we store that URL and hostname against your account. On each crawl we store the pages and links we found, HTTP status codes, sitemap and robots data, canonical checks, and any issues those checks open or resolve.

Email

On Premium, after a crawl finds a new or reopened issue, we can email the address from your GitHub account. Those emails are sent through Resend.

Payments

Premium is billed through Stripe. Checkout receives your email so Stripe can take payment. We do not store card numbers.

Where data lives

Account and crawl records are stored in a Turso (libSQL) database. The app is hosted on Vercel. Sign-in sessions use a secure cookie.

Who we share data with

We share data with GitHub (sign-in), Stripe (payments), Resend (email), and Turso and Vercel (hosting and storage). We don’t sell data or use it for advertising.

How long we keep it

We keep account and crawl data while your account is active. You can delete a site and its history from the app at any time. To delete your whole account, email us and we’ll remove it within 30 days. Stripe keeps payment records as the law requires.

Your rights

Under UK GDPR you can ask to access, correct, delete or export your data, or object to how we use it, by emailing us. You can also complain to the ICO (ico.org.uk).

Lawful basis

We process this data to provide the service you signed up for (contract), and send alert emails only on Premium.
